H2H Movers Will Help In Transporting Your Piano

Proficiency in Piano an Instrument Moving

Due to the nature of the musical instruments, moving heavy ones require proper technique. Even slight bumps can cause unwanted effect or damages, so moving them safely is key. We are proud to say that H2H Movers has experience in moving pianos and large instruments, so we can always assist you with such a specific job.

Low Hourly Rates for Our Services

Piano moving is part of our moving service list, and as such our low hourly rates apply to it as well. Pianos fall within the category of bulky objects, so there is a one-time fee for moving one of those, which gets you four specially trained piano movers, that carry appropriate equipment for the job to carefully treat your piano, packing and wrapping it as necessary to protect it from bumps and scratches.

Instrument Moving Is More Than Simple Transportation

Most pianos are incredibly expensive, so obviously, they require special care when being transported and moved around. With that said, this is not the only thing they have going for them, which makes them special. Indeed, most pianos also have sentimental value that should not be underestimated. That makes their proper transportation that much more important.

Available To Move Pianos of Various Sizes

Smaller pianos may not be an issue even for a 2-person moving crew, which can be done fairly quickly and easily with trained professionals. However, when approaching bigger pianos, we can provide four trained movers, who will do everything necessary to ensure a problem-free move. On top of that, our piano moving services are covered by sufficient insurance!

Frequently Asked Questions about Piano Moving

Do you have all the necessary equipment to move such an instrument?

We have what is necessary to move and transport most pianos, except Grand Pianos.

Can I pay with a credit card?

You can pay with a credit card. However, keep in mind that there is a 3% processing fee, which you will need to pay.

Can you request parking permits?

Yes. We can definitely purchase a No Parking sign from the city. It has to be ordered at least 72 hours before the move date. We charge $30 for it, per address ($25 goes to the city and we take only $5 for the application) IF the area is not metered. For metered area an application has to be submitted and the fee must be approved with the customer.

We do. We have a 3 million in liability insurances. However, only movers and public property is insured. Insurance does not apply to personal belongings. It is the same with any licensed moving company. For personal belongings we have liabilities only. For local moves it is 30 cents per lbs per item. For long distance moves it is 60 cents per lbs per item. Higher liability can be purchased at additional cost. We can go $1, $2…up to $6 per lbs per article. There is no deductible. If the customer wants a full coverage insurance, it needs to be purchased through a third party carrier, in our case it is MOVINGINSURANCE.COM

Do you move all kinds of pianos?

Yes, our movers can move all types of pianos besides the GRAND PIANO. 4 movers at least are always needed.
